During Ramadan, our community raised $1,230 in zakat for refugee families in Sudan.
One completed project from this campaign provided approximately one week of groceries to 95 families living in Um Galaa Refugee Camp in the Gadarif region of Sudan.
As with all of our zakat campaigns, funds were distributed exclusively for eligible zakat purposes — Amanah Relief USA takes no portion of zakat donations.
This campaign is complete — but the work continues.
