Who we are
Started by two friends who refused to look away.
Amanah Relief USA was founded in the Bay Area by Meriam Hussain and Dina Benkhelouf, who turned grief over the suffering they saw into action. Today our community supports families in Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Sudan — and neighbors experiencing homelessness here at home.
